In the livejournal, russian girls have a community, where they can gather in groups and stitch "together" projects that it's hard for them to finish on their own (long lasting).
Every 1 or 2 weeks girls make photos of their progress, e-mail it to the group coordinator, and then coordinator makes a report, where last and new stages are shown. Limit of stitched crosses is 100-200 per week or 2.
It really helps morally to contunie your long lasting project and not to forget about it, 'cause making 100-200 crosses in a week-two takes so few time Also every stitcher can read this report, encourage other, discuss processes.
So, this picture was stitched in "Long lasting project" group #4 I planned it as a gift for my colleague, but then decided that it's too pessimistic. And dropped it for some months. And I think it could never be finished, if I didn't enter this stitching group

I really like this cross-stitch. I love the colors. It just FEELS a lot different than the others I have seen on this site.
Great job.
